In a time characterised by an ever greater pace of political, economic, social and cultural change, and in a time where information and news is largely made available in a fragmented form, the college considers one of its key tasks as giving students the skills to transform such information into coherent know-how and insight. Students must be able to express their opinions and retain an overview in a mobile-wapping, Internet-zapping, national and international politico-economic society.
The college attaches considerable priority to international understanding and experience. For this reason, students on basic vocational courses and those on commercial upper-secondary courses are offered the opportunity of getting to know foreign cultures and acquire international experience. Skanderborg-Odder Business College has partner colleges in Germany, England, Scotland, France and Spain.
