Innovation and inventiveness have found their way from AHCON Wheel Service Equipment to tyre centres throughout the world. The Skanderborg company produces specialist equipment for the servicing of wheels, but at the same time delivers more than this – namely safety, rationalised working procedures and a good work environment. AHCON’s three most important product groups are:

• Speed Line – a concept for wheel handling, primarily at tyre centres. The complete system consists of a wheel lift, roll table, units for tyre removal, safety inflation unit, turning systems and lifting units for weightless centring of wheels on a wheel-balancing machine, etc. The complete system ensures high productivity, but the main reason why it is purchased is often due to ergonomic considerations as much heavy lifting and uneven straining can thereby be avoided. • Safety inflation systems that consist of partly enclosed cages with pressure wave refraction systems and inflation computers. The systems are used for inflating all sizes of wheels and are sold to tyre centres throughout the world, in addition to the US Air Force as well as air forces and armies in, for example, Scandinavia, to name just a few customers. Tyre manufacturers such as Goodyear and Michelin also use AHCON equipment for random pressure testing on the production line.

• Equipment for simulated driving that distorts the tyre in the same way as when a vehicle corners from side to side. The optimal fitting of the tyre relative to the rim takes place in just a few seconds so that wheel balancing does not have to be repeated at a later stage. The equipment can be found at many tyre centres as well as at almost every car manufacturer in Europe. AHCON is known for its personal customer service, for example in connection with the development of individual solutions for workshops. The result is satisfied customers – and ideas for further development work.
