Aleks Steen ApS is an engineering works specialising in the cutting of stainless steel, steel, metals, cast items and plastics.
Furthermore, the private limited company manufactures both single-acting and double-acting hydraulic cylinders to meet customer requirements.

The company is a supplier to some of the largest industrial companies in Denmark, thereby realising indirect exports of 95 per cent of its production.
As a subsupplier, Aleks Steen ApS delivers a broad range of widely different components to, among others, the wind turbine industry and manufacturers of agricultural machinery, cooling compressors and loudspeakers as well as parts for transport, packing and sorting systems.. |

The engineering works boasts modern production facilities with 22 CNC machines, undertaking both individual assignments and the production of small and large series. For all sizes of orders, the company’s eighteen employees take pride in delivering precision work and a superior finish with the greatest emphasis being placed on maintaining a relationship of mutual trust between Aleks Steen ApS and its customers.
The company was founded by Aleks Steen in 1978, and its history is almost that of a classic success story. It all started in modest premises of 30 square metres in Hem, but the company soon grew in size, and in 1993 it relocated to its present premises in Skanderborg, which have also subsequently been expanded.
Today, the company premises cover more than 2,000 square metres with further scope for expansion.

The engineering works is a family-owned business.
Together with a key employee, the founder’s three sons will be taking over the running of the company in connection with a generation change in 2004.
All in all, the four new owners have more than 65 years of experience, and customers can rest assured that they will continue to run the company according to the same quality principles as have characterised Aleks Steen’s management. |
