The firm’s lawyers have for the past 100 years played an active role in the business community in Skanderborg, as well as participating in local culture, societies and associations, among other things as members of various boards and acting as chairmen of general meetings.

Despite the firm’s 100th anniversary in 2003, dust will not be allowed to settle on the firm which has just invested in a state-of-the art IT system. The firm is constantly focusing on developments and updating its knowledge. In 1990, for example, the firm entered into cooperation with law firms in Horsens, Vejle, Fredericia and Kolding under the name DK ADVOKATERNE concerning, among other things, supplementary training and professional sparring.
Since 1973, DK ADVOKATERNE in Skanderborg has also had an office in Tranebjerg on Samsø. The office on the island is open one day a week or by appointment.

The firm lives up to high professional standards. The firm is a member of Danske Boligadvokater, which means that clients are guaranteed optimum advice and consultancy concerning property transactions. Furthermore, the firm is RKI-authorised, which means that it offers debt collection services. The firm also employs a public defence counsel (legal aid lawyer) and is a member of Foreningen af Familieretsadvokater, a Danish society of family law lawyers.
Regardless of the services demanded by clients, the firm attaches the greatest importance to ensuring that clients perceive the firm as being committed to finding the best possible solutions at all times.
The firm currently employs four lawyers and five secretaries. Lawyers Ole Koefoed Nielsen and Thomas Kelstrup are entitled to plead before the Danish High Court (L).
