GP Glass-Peening A/S is one of just a few companies in Denmark which both undertakes and provides consultancy on four types of surface treatment of stainless steel: • Glass bead blasting is a fast and inexpensive treatment giving an attractive finish. The company has specialised in the glass bead blasting of aluminium for the hi-fi industry, while also blasting plastics and glass. • Deep staining is effective when reestablishing corrosion resistance on a stainless surface, removing metal contamination and tarnishing after welding. • Electropolishing gives the strongest and most hygienic finish on stainless steel. The company develops its own suspension tools for items to be electropolished. • Shot blasting or peening with stainless steel balls gives an extremely even surface and is an effective solution for large numbers of items.

In addition, GP Glass-Peening also bonds protective and noise-dampening rubber onto steel. GP Glass-Peening stays up to date with technological developments taking place within the industry; with its own waste-water treatment plant, the company has environmental certification that meets all the requirements of current legislation. The company was founded in 1994 by Gerner and Pernille Larsen.
