This is our attitude at Profil Optik, and this means that Morten Hardt and his three colleagues do their utmost to assist customers, honestly and conscientiously. Profil Optik customers can count on getting an optically correct solution, and receiving the right advice with regard to the shape and colour of their new eyewear.

Profil Optik is the oldest firm of opticians in Skanderborg. It was opened in 1967 by Hans Jørgen Mikkelsen, and in 2002 he handed over the shop to Morten Hardt, who continues to sell spectacles and contact lenses as well as various accessories.
The selection of frames on display in the shop in Adelgade offers plenty of choice: approx. 1,400 frames to suit nearly every taste. The shop stocks both well-known brands such as GUCCI, REDGREEN, SAND, Puma, Sting and Police, as well as more classic frames.

Furthermore, Profil Optik has also specialised in eyewear for children and young people; while most opticians have 25-30 different frames on display for children, we have 150 children’s frames in the shop.
Popular stars such as Harry Potter and Anastasia have meant a lot for children and young people and their attitude to spectacles. When the stars are not afraid of showing that they use spectacles, or even of wearing spectacles at all because it looks smart, this makes people a little more daring in their choice of frames.

One of the reasons for Profil Optik’s wide selection is that Skanderborg lies not far from Aarhus.
This increases competition and therefore it is necessary to do that bit more to keep local customers in the town. As a business in Skanderborg, it is necessary to offer customers a wider selection than what they will find in the neighbouring city, if we are to stay the pace ...
