Rental housing in green surroundings

It all started back in 1942 with twelve flats on P. B. Lundsvej – today the cooperative housing association Skanderborg Andelsboligforening has 1,336 flats divided between 43 properties and housing estates in the Municipality of Skanderborg.

There are flats for people of all ages, for families and for single people, and most of them are situated in green areas with plenty of light and space.

One of the housing association’s main priorities is that the flats are of a high standard and that there is a good environment on the estates, with plenty of opportunities for development, particularly for children.

Skanderborg Andelsboligforening is an independent housing organisation, which means that the levels of rent are based on the actual costs.

Each property or estate is run by a committee and is financially independent; if there is a profit, the money is channelled back to the tenants, for example by reducing the rent.
